Zippy Lawnz is a robotic lawn mower dealership, installation company, and service center. We help homeowners, businesses, and property managers switch from gas mowing to quiet, electric, autonomous lawn care, and we stay with them long after the install.

A family business with a technology background
Zippy Lawnz is run by Paul Richards together with his father, Hugh Richards. Before Zippy, the two spent nearly 20 years building PTZOptics, a broadcast camera company that grew into a trusted name in professional video.
That experience shapes how we work. We know robotic mowers aren’t like an appliance you plug in and forget. They’re connected technology that has to be set up correctly, mapped carefully, and supported over time. We built Zippy Lawnz to be the company we’d want to buy from.
Why we exist
Robotic mowers have become impressive, but many people buy one online and end up with a bad setup, a map that doesn’t work, or nobody to call when something goes wrong. We fix that by being the local expert who:

Installs it professionally. We mount the RTK antenna for a clear view of the sky, run power properly, protect the charging station, and walk the property to test and refine the map.

Maps your lawn. We set up mowing zones, no-go areas, mowing directions, and a schedule that fits your property.

Trains you. You’ll know how to run it from your phone before we leave.

Supports it. We provide technical support, handle manufacturer warranty service, and keep mowers, parts, and accessories in stock.
What we believe in
We’re committed to eco-friendly lawn care: electric only, never gas, and organic only, never chemical fertilizers. A robotic mower cuts a little every day, which leaves a healthier, thicker lawn. It’s also quieter, safer, and gives you your weekends back.
